First released in 1996, the Air Jordan 12 Retro ‘Taxi’ 2013 is based on the OG white/black colorway worn by Michael Jordan himself during the 1996-97 NBA regular season. The sneaker features beautiful metallic gold eyelets and a black outsole with a carbon fiber shank that references the black and yellow of NYC Taxi cabs. The ‘Taxi’ was first retroed in 2008 as part of Nike’s Countdown Collection, and was also given the low-top treatment in 2011.
